What a great honor and privilege to accept this prestigious award on behalf of VKN Pakistan and all the partnering television ministries. You believed in our goal and mission to establish the first Christian cable television network airing out of my country, Pakistan. Because of your faith, commitment and vision I am hearing and seeing things take place in our country that I thought I would never see.
During the award ceremony political, Christians, minority and Muslim leaders approached me and had many questions regarding VKN. They were thanking me for offering such diverse, unique and influential Christian programming. The Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan said “Benny, we are so proud of you and want to appreciate you for VKN Pakistan. We respect you and what the network is offering the youth of our country a positive message. Never before have the minorities and Muslim seen this kind of Christian programming, never before have we seen this kind of Christian television in our nation. You are one of the youngest to receive this award. I will go back to the Capital and tell the Prime Minister of what VKN Pakistan is accomplishing”.

With those words of encouragement I felt very humbled and honored that our VKN ministry television partners had made this happen for our country. When I received the award I felt that God had put you all in my life for a time as this. I know that in my heart and mind that many people from the United States and around the world do have trouble putting their trust and faith in my country of Pakistan. But believe me…we are seeing a great awakening and the move of God through Christian television evangelism. Through Christians like you, we are seeing lives being changed and transformed. Muslims, Christians, minorities who are so fascinated with American Christians and how they teach, sing and preach. How Christians are joyful in God! Your ministry programming brings them hope and love. They now see Christians in a different light! They see you as caring for them without even knowing them. That is a hard concept for the people of my country to understand.
Thank you for your prayers and ministry programming. Please support VKN Pakistan – keep Christian television on. Please know that your ministry is being aired and it is reaching millions and changing lives in the Islamic Nation of Pakistan.
