VKN in 2012

If you’ve been following us since the beginning, then this full-length promo is what you’re looking for.

While we modernize the VKN brand, we don’t want to lose track of our humble beginnings. In April 2009, we launched VKN Pakistan in Youhanabad, Lahore, Pakistan. We brought six hours of daily Christian programming to 500,000 people via hard-lined cable. Though small in reach, our goal was to bring the Gospel to the 95% of the population who couldn’t afford satellite receivers and thus couldn’t tap into globally broadcasted networks. Thanks to a small group of faithful, hard workers & the grace of God, our venture was successful.

As of January 2012, VKN Pakistan reaches 5-million people (targeting over 1-million homes). Through our call center established in 2010, we’ve received 91,000 calls delivering praise reports, including 21,000 healings, and 23,000 salvations. Though we started with half-a-dozen dedicated ministries, our number of VKN Partnering Ministries has grown to 24.

Global Expansion

Our goal for 2012 is to expand globally. Our focus remains on bringing the Gospel to the 10/40 Window, but VKN’s reach will be expanding into other countries through hard-lined cable, Internet live-streams, and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) set-top boxes. In the next several of months, we’ll be publicly announcing & outlining our expansion plans.

In October 2011, we were honored to support and help sponsor the Spiritual Revival for Islamabad event. This outdoor convention led by one of of VKI pastors changed the lives of thousands for Jesus. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan with over 1.3-million people.

As a musician, recording artist, and award-winning songwriter, Ben Ferrell knows a lot about music—and harmony.

As a forerunner of the now established “worship music” scene, he was an early ’80s pioneer. Ben traveled from coast-to-coast and abroad, leading worship conferences and teaching people how to enter into the presence of God via music. On his nationally syndicated CBN weekly half-hour show, Ben not only taught millions how to worship but also presented it as a lifestyle, one he lives to this day.

Today, Ben is president of BMCFerrell and lives in Tulsa with his wife Kelly and their four children; Parker, Emily, Eli, and John.
