Campus Crusade for Christ exists to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit. We also help the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.
What is a Spiritual Movement?
When God works through like-minded people to win people to faith in Jesus Christ, build them in their faith through life-changing discipleship and send them to win and build others, we say that a spiritual movement has begun. We believe that God has called us to help build these spiritual movements everywhere, so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus Christ.
To that end, we are emphasizing several key objectives:
Today’s college students are tomorrow’s world leaders. Imagine the changes the world would see if every one of the 110 million college students had an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel every year.
We want to see students everywhere embrace the purpose, love and forgiveness that God offers them in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Every day, leaders in business and government make influential decisions that reverberate through society. How different our world would be if those decisions were being made by men and women who were truly following Jesus.
We want to help build spiritual movements among leaders so their influence can be used by God to draw people everywhere to himself.
As innovators in tools for evangelism and discipleship, we help the body of Christ win, build and send people. We are also helping to plant churches in the most unreached regions of the world through JESUS Film translations and mission trips.
Recognizing that many people worldwide are using the Web to explore spirituality, we see Internet evangelism and discipleship as a key component to helping people begin a relationship with God and truly follow Jesus. For more information, visit:
The goal of The JESUS Film Project is to help share Jesus with everyone in his or her own heart language using media tools and movement building strategies.
The JESUS Film Project distributes the film “JESUS,” a two-hour docudrama about the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke. The film has been seen in every country of the world and translated into hundreds of languages since its initial release in 1979. Our goal is to reach every nation, tribe, people and tongue, helping them see and hear the story of Jesus in a language they can understand. So whether a person speaks Swahili, French, or a language whose name is extremely difficult for most to pronounce, he or she will encounter the life and message of Jesus in a language “of the heart.”
Many mission experts have acclaimed the “JESUS” film as one of the greatest evangelistic success stories of all time. The ultimate success of this project won’t be measured by how many people have already seen it, but by how many will follow Him after seeing this film.
Through use by The JESUS Film Project, and more than 1,500 Christian agencies, this powerful film has had more than 6 billion viewings worldwide since 1979. On top of that, the great majority of those heard the story of Jesus in a language they easily understand.
As a result, more than 200 million people have indicated decisions to accept Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
